Golf Clubs in Jamaica
Jamaica has a number of beautiful golf courses. Golf lovers from around the world have played golf in Jamaica. It is also known for golf tournaments which at times attract many well known international players.
Manchester Golf Club was established in 1868, is the oldest in the western hemisphere. Manchester Golf Club has 18 holes.
Half Moon Golf Club
Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this extremely spacious course is known for the unforgettable challenges. Famous for the challenges of the 535-yard 3rd hole and the relatively short 362-yard 4th hole. Tryall Club
Former home of the LPGA Tour's Jamaica Classic and The Johnny Walker World Championship. This picturesque course, with its rolling fairways, devilish greens and unique layout is considered the finest in the world.It was build 1960 by Texas architect Ralf Plummer on the site of a 19th century sugar plantation. Phone: 876-956-5681
Cinnamon Hill Golf Club
Designed and opened in April 2001. It immediately pass the test by the Caribbean Classic golf Championship. The course plays from sea level to 900 feet and is blessed with refreshing daily trade wind. A 18th-century sugar mill ruins, aqueducts and stone wall run throughout the course.
Sandals Golf
This golf course is 700 feet above sea level, a few miles east of the resort town Ocho Rios. This course is one of the most scenic 18-hole courses in Jamaica. Noted for its majestic trees. The 10th hole offers a spectacular view of the sea.
Negril Hills Golf Club
Located in the green hills, high above the white beaches of Negril, this course offers the challenging topography, natural beauty. Its elevated tees and greens, gently undulating fairways and picturesque water hazards distinguish this sporty, 18-hole golfer's paradise.
Superclubs Ironshore Golf
Built in 1972 in the midst of a luxury villa resort near Montego Bay, Ironshore's 18-hole course was designed by Canadian Robert Moote and is noted for its challenging layout with a number of intriguing blind holes.
Caymanas Golf Club
Caymanas Golf Course opened for play in 1957 and since that time has developed into a magnificent parkland thanks to the tropical climate of Jamaica. Caymanas Golf Course has 18 holes.
